Our Waldorf office is conveniently located near the St. Charles Towne Center off of Smallwood Parkway.

Note: Our office is closed everyday between 12 to 1 pm for lunch.

If you have an urgent medical need and need to talk to our doctors after our regular hours, please call our office at (301) 645-9650. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.
At Patel, Ramanan & Associates, we accept Medicare and most major insurance plans. Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office to find out if we accept your insurance plan.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Patel, Ramanan & Associates are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can ask your pharmacy to fax the refill request form or send us an electronic refill request, or you can sign in to our patient portal and request a refill online. One of our staff will process your request within 2 business days.
If it has been more than 3 months since your last visit, you will need to schedule a follow-up appointment before we can authorize your refill request. No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors do not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
